The OdorStop ozone air and water sterilizer produces ozone. Ozone is created in nature during thunderstorms and when ultraviolet rays from the sun strike hydrocarbons in our atmosphere. Ozone is called “activated” oxygen because it has 3 oxygen atoms. It treats air and water by breaking down odors, bacteria, viruses, and microorganisms at their source. The air and water sterilizer uses a special process to make ozone and It is important that no person or pet is present in the room during operation. After a short time, ozone reverts back to oxygen and leaves a fresh, clean and safe area. The timer function helps to make sure that the purifier is safe and effective.
